About Me

Hello. My name is Trent Meidinger, and I live in Minneapolis. Three words describe me well: communicator, connector, leader.
Communicator. My expertise is in internal and executive communications – strategy, counsel, coaching and messaging – at the Fortune 100 level. I’m passionate about it and drive results. Others follow along with me and are informed, engaged, productive and, sometimes, inspired. I also have experience in marketing communications, speech-writing, crisis management, media and public relations, and advertising. I am a member of the International Association of Business Communicators.
Connector. I am quick to establish trust and credibility at all levels, particularly with senior executives. A colleague described it as instant rapport. I listen well and am transparent. Perceptive to the prevailing mood, I typically draw out the unspoken. I enjoy linking people with complementary ideas, information and talents.
Leader. I have managed operations businesses of up to 200 employees. I am successful in leading direct reports and the overall team through substantial organizational change and business transformation while maintaining engagement and productivity. I am skilled in identifying and developing new leaders. I have a reputation for being the calm in the storm in challenging times.
